Co-operation with Metsola

COLLECTIONS
During the year we will launch two main collections Spring/ Summer (SS) and Autumn / Winter (AW). Each collection includes smaller drops; Predrop and Drops 1-4. The Main collections are being preordered about six months before the first drop of the season.

PRODUCT MANUFACTURING COUNTRIES
Our products are manufactured in Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Poland ja Türkiye.

DELIVERIES
The orders will be delivered by 3PL from our warehouse in Vantaa. The delivery fee will be charged from each delivery.

ADDITIONAL ORDERS
NOOS- products can be ordered at any time.
After each drop’s launching day, the additional orders can be made about a week later.

SUPPORT MATERIAL FOR SALE
We offer product information and pictures of the products for our retailers (product, social media and other pictures). We deliver a sales support package to our retailers for free with the first drop of the season. The package can include for example shopping bags, postcards, the Metsola logo or stickers with logo or our prints.

DISCOUNT -RULE
Metsola’s prints, patterns and colors are timeless, and we try to avoid discounting the new products too early. We often start the sale when the products have been on sale for several months. We try to sell products made from Henna Adel’s patterns at recommended prices as long as possible. Our wish is that the products would not be discounted immediately after launching them.

METSOLA COMPLAINTS
Metsola strives to operate more responsibly, and we want to encourage you to extend the life of Metsola products. Often the reclamation products can be fixed and there is no need to change it for the new one.
Here is a couple example for possible operating ways when dealing with reclamation products. If the customer wants to keep the products, you can offer them a partial refund for the product. A small repair refund is also a great option and reasonable repair costs can also be compensated against a receipt. Metsola will compensate you the reasonable repair costs, however the maximum compensation is always the purchase price of the product for retailers.
If the fix or partial refund is not suitable for the customer, the product can be changed to a new one that is the same product, or the product can be refunded to the customer.
The retailer will take care of the complaint with the customer. The replacement product can be ordered from Metsola (minna.ala-aho@metsola.fi). The products will be delivered to the retailer or directly to the customer without delivery fees.
All the complaints will be written down to Metsola’s complaint form and it will be delivered to Metsola approximately every 3 months. If necessary, you can ask Minna for a complaint form.

METSOLA’S STORY

Metsola’s story starts from love and care – and the passion to design sustainable and beautiful clothes continues to blossom.

Metsola was established in 2007 and it is one of the oldest Finnish clothing brands for children. The Brand originated from a nostalgic retro boom and launched bold colors and patterns to bring joy to Finnish families with children. Metsola's style has grown over the years and changed shape but remained recognizable and personal. Surprising collections, wild patterns, cute frills, and playful bear ears reflect Metsola perfectly.

Metsola got its new owner in January 2021 from the domestic family company SGN Group Oy. Most of the revenue of the group founded in 1933 comes from Finland but it also has significant business for example in Sweden and Baltics. SGN Group industries include motor sports, sports and leisure, consumer products, agricultural and machine trade, and industrial equipment. The group’s headquarters are in Vantaa.

The dashing colors of Metsola, graphic cuts and patterns create a recognizable brand that's clothes have grown respected and wanted over the years in quality conscious families’ wardrobe. Metsola produces its clothes from organic cotton in EU area and due to careful designing results in a garment that has a long life, and it copes consumption. We want to take close care of the things surrounding us: four seasons nature, that is both strong and sensitive at the same time. We want our children to be able to enjoy the changing seasons and its beauty for now and in the future. Because love is the act of the future.

The manufacturing methods and processes of our cotton fabrics are constantly being developed in a more ecological and sustainable direction. The use of recycled materials in our products is growing every year. Metsola is constantly looking for partners that pay attention to the environmental friendliness of production processes, aim to the sustainable use of the natural resources, and develop new modern ways to produce materials to clothing industry.
Only the use or organic cotton and ethical manufacturing methods doesn’t make the clothes ecological. That is why we encourage our customers to recycle the clothes for new users! The more children use the products, the more ecological and longer life cycle the clothes have.
